How to prepare to sell your Trill

Selling your Trill can be a great way to earn extra cash while ensuring your device gets a second life. To maximize your resale value and ensure a smooth transaction, follow this step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Determine your Trill’s Functionality & Condition

Grab your Trill and determine which Eco Toreda Condition Standard best describes it.

• Screen & Body: Look for scratches, dents, cracks, or discoloration.
• Buttons & Ports: Test all buttons, charging ports, and any other connectors.
• Battery Health: In general, a battery with 80% or more battery charging capacity is considered Good. If yours is less than 80%, choose Poor Battery.
• Performance: Ensure your Trill powers on, responds correctly, and connects to Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.
• Accessories: Grab the original Trill accessories (charger, power cable) are available and functional.

Step 2: Remove Personal Data from Your Device

Before handing over your Trill, erase all personal data to protect your privacy. Follow these general steps:

1. Back Up Your Data: Use cloud storage or a computer to save important files, contacts, and photos.
2. Sign Out of Accounts: Deactivate any connected accounts (e.g., Apple ID, Google, Samsung, Microsoft) to prevent activation locks.
3. Factory Reset your Trill: Navigate to the settings menu and select “Reset” or “Erase All Content.” Ensure the process is complete before shutting down the device.
