Eco Toreda customers may collect and manage Personal Data when using our product and services, or what we may refer to as the Marketplace Service. "Marketplace Service" is defined in the Eco Toreda Customer Terms of Service and means all of our web-based applications, tools and platforms that you have subscribed to under an Order Form or that we otherwise make available to you, and are developed, operated, and maintained by us and any ancillary products and services, including website hosting, that we provide to you. When you use the Marketplace Service, Eco Toreda processes Personal Data as a processor under the direction of our customers. Our customers, as data controllers, are responsible for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent prior to collecting their customers' Personal Data using the Marketplace Service. When you interact with us via our websites or any sites or services that link to this Privacy Policy or use the Marketplace Service, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below.
When You Visit Our Websites
We collect Personal Data from you when you submit web forms or interact with our websites, for example by subscribing to a Eco Toreda blog, signing up for a webinar, subscribing to one of our services or requesting customer support. We may ask for your email address, first and last name, job title, and other similar business information. You are free to explore some of our websites without providing any Personal Data about yourself.
INBOUND and Other Event Information
When you register for an Eco Toreda event, we collect information such as name, address, phone number, and email address. We use this information to communicate with you and in some cases facilitate your registration. Additionally, we may share your registration data with service providers to provide event information and improve your experience or future Eco Toreda events.
Account and User Information
We collect Personal Data when you sign-up for a Eco Toreda account, create or modify user information, set preferences, or provide any other related information to access or utilize our Marketplace Service.
Automatic Data Collection (SMS and Voice Channels): When you contact Eco Toreda via SMS text messaging or voice call, we automatically collect your phone number from the caller ID or message sender information. This automatic collection enables instant authentication and personalized service without requiring additional verification steps. Your phone number is used to look up or create your account, determine your account status (provisional or active), and personalize your experience. For the web chat channel, your phone number is collected when you provide it for authentication purposes and is verified via one-time password (OTP) before account access is granted.
Payment Information
We collect payment and billing information when you register for paid products or services. For example, we may ask you to provide a billing address, or a billing contact for your Eco Toreda account. If you give us payment information, we use it solely as authorized by you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You may also provide payment information, such as a credit card number or bank account numbers, when purchasing products or services. We use secure third-party payment service providers to manage payment processing, which is collected through a secure payment process.
Customer Testimonials
We post customer testimonials and comments on our websites, which may contain Personal Data. We obtain each customer's consent via email or through other agreements between the customer and Eco Toreda prior to posting the customer's name and testimonial.
Account Status and Authentication
When you first interact with Eco Toreda through any channel (SMS, voice call, or web chat), we check for an existing account. If no account exists, we create a new account with "provisional" status. To activate your account and access Marketplace Services, you must complete authentication and agree to our Terms of Service. Authentication methods vary by channel:
Once authenticated on any channel, your account status changes from "provisional" to "active," and you gain access to Marketplace Services across all channels.
Guest Mode (Web Chat)
When you first open the web chat widget without authenticating, you may interact in "guest" mode with limited functionality. To access full Marketplace Services, you must authenticate by providing your phone number and completing OTP verification.
When our customers use the Marketplace Service, they may collect, store, and process Personal Data of their own customers, end users, or other individuals ("Customer Data"). Eco Toreda processes Customer Data on behalf of our customers as a data processor. Our customers, as data controllers, are responsible for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent prior to collecting their customers' Personal Data using the Marketplace Service.
Eco Toreda processes Customer Data in accordance with our customers' instructions, as set forth in our agreements with our customers, including our Customer Terms of Service and our Data Processing Agreement. Eco Toreda does not control Customer Data. Our customers are responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of Customer Data and the means by which they acquired Customer Data.
If you are a customer or end user of one of our customers and would like to make a request to access, correct, update, or delete Personal Data that may be included in Customer Data, please contact the Eco Toreda customer directly. If you contact us, we will refer your request to that customer and will support them as needed in responding to your request.

Voice Call Recording and Transcription
When you use Eco Toreda's voice call services, we may record and transcribe your calls for service delivery, quality assurance, and AI processing purposes. SMS Communications
Eco Toreda may send you SMS text messages for account notifications, order updates, customer support, and marketing purposes (with your consent where required). To use SMS channel features, you must opt in to SMS communications. You can opt out of SMS marketing messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any marketing text message or by contacting us at privacy@ecotoreda.com. Opting out of marketing messages will not affect transactional or account-related SMS messages.
Referral Communications
If another user refers you to Eco Toreda through our referral program (for example, by sharing a VCF card via MMS), we may send you a contextual SMS message about the referral. These referral messages are sent only if: (i) you have opted in to SMS communications, and (ii) the message is contextual and relationship-based (not a bulk marketing message). If you have not opted in to SMS communications, you will not receive referral messages via SMS, even if another user has referred you.
Multi-Channel Data Sharing
Once authenticated on any channel (SMS, voice, or web chat), your account and data are accessible across all channels. Data collected on one channel may be used to personalize your experience on other channels. For example, if you place an order via SMS, you may receive order updates via voice call or web chat, and your order history will be accessible from any channel.
